This beautiful iPad case design is being offered by an Etsy seller for eReaders (Kindle, Nook, Kindle Fire, Nook Color). An iPad version of this case will be made available for a “couple extra bucks” according to the designer, which would end up around $60 USD or so.
Doing a pre-order run of these for the holidays – they will ship by Dec 18th at the latest, and probably before. The finished product will look similar on the inside, but not identical – the new ones have pockets and a stylus loop if you order the Kindle Fire.

The guys over at Powis iCase sent me this custom designed Steve Jobs inspired iPad 2 case yesterday. After I created this design, I decided to give a shout out to redsn0w as well for jailbreaking my iPad. As you can see from the photos, the words “jailbroken thanks to redsn0w” were added to the back. This iPad 2 case came out awesome and now we are trying to give it away! The SofShell iPad 2 case is compatible with the SmartCover, and as is very tacky as shown in the videos below. This “non-slip” iPad case adheres to a sheet of glass, even when raised beyond 90 degrees.
Here they put the iPad 2 on most flat, and windshielded part on a Porsche going 60 mph. Not sure about this test, without the brake light shielding the iPad 2 I think it would have flown off since the iPad 2 is sort of like an airfoil.
The SofShell is available for $50.
