This past weekend, Anton Kudin had a “fold to unlock” concept for the iPhone…and the jailbreak community delivered. The new “Fold To Unlock” tweak resembles the concept shown below:
On the downside, “Fold to Unlock” isn’t available for the iPad yet. If you have a passcode set, the unfold will show the passcode screen behind the fold. Check out Jeff’s video preview of the Unfold tweak:

The guys at ZooGue decided to try and freeze an iPad to gain a shameless plug for their “amazing free iPhone cases”. Well the video is pretty good if you can see past the advertising campaign throughout the video.
I wouldn’t recommend throwing your frozen iPad off a stepladder to get it out of the ice…in time the ice will melt you know. The sleep/wake magnets are even functional through the layer of ice, impressive to say the least. Answers the “Will It Freeze” question

Hulu has updated the iPad video player app to provide support to the New iPad and its retina display. AirPlay mirroring and HDMI support for the iPhone 4S and iPad 2 has also been improved in this latest update for the iPad app.

Chronic dev team hacker pod2g stated that the iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak for the new iPad will be available in the next couple days.

The Liberty Times of Taiwan is reporting that LG is working hard to get the 7.85-inch LCD panels ready for Apple. It is expected by many that the iPad Mini will stick with the 1024×768 pixel dimension on the smaller LCD panel. This will keep the new iPad Mini at half the resolution of the new iPad, and the same as the original iPad and the iPad 2 still being produced.
Amazon managed to prove there is a market for a smaller tablet, so Apple has decided to bring a lower priced iPad to the masses. I would expect the iPad mini to be aggressively priced at $199 to compete with the Amazon Kindle Fire, I really think $299 would be too high. Somewhere in-between at $249 is certainly possible though, do you think the iPad Mini rumors are true?

Dashboard X is available in Cydia for $1.99 and offers the ability to add springboard widgets on your iPad. This tweak is definitely one of the nicer additions for your jailbroken iPad or iPhone. Check out or test of Dashboard X on the iPad:

On Sunday, the iPhone Dev Team released a new version of redsn0w (0.9.11b4) which will jailbreak your iPad even if it is running the latest software. The latest version of redsn0w provides many bug fixes to provide a clean jailbreak.
