@Makjeez Then please enlighten me o wise one on why Adobe would possibly be influenced by one single company when Flash had a high share of the market on many many other devices? It’s because they know it’s inferior. You know it and I know it. So be open minded for once.

  4. ToLe5000 says:

@exciter8906 Thats a good point, it depends if youre willing to give up some speed i guess

  5. mackjeez says:

    @NOSboy2012

Flash for mobile devices is inferior compared to what? HTML 5 is glitchy as hell and its integration into the mobile market is awfully slow. The funny part is that Apple brought up this whole negativity in regards to flash being buggy only to depend on Adobe to find ways to implement HTML 5 into modern applications, HTML+ Java is a pain in the ass to work with. I say its a sad day indeed, this is definitely a step backwards in innovation.

  6. DeTantalus says:

Who cares that its 10 seconds slower. Its also $300 cheaper and does almost the exact same thing.

  7. exciter8906 says:

that’s why you dont want flash on mobile device

  8. xpradaGx says:

Flash is going extinct so all you android fanboys have nothing to defend left

  9. livecave144 says:

Lol look at all the angry android fanboys

  10. EmilioEG87 says:

They should do a test of how many extra hours I have to work in order to pay the price difference for the Ipad 2.

  11. NOSboy2012 says:

@Pwincesssusan What’s your point? Even Adobe says Flash for Mobile is inferior and is discontinuing it.

  12. Pwincesssusan says:

hmmmm but double the times but has flash for LESS than double the price seems fair

  13. DopeMusic247 says:

Amazon DIDN’T want to compete with the iPad, it would not make sense to compare them. It was a terrible test too btw.

  14. rezzacool says:

stop comparing them. its like comparing the iPad to a top end computer. no shit the extremely lower priced product will be outperformed. but if you look at a $3000 dollar PC built for gaming… lol the iPad looks retarded.

  15. rezzacool says:

wow the $600 device is faster than the $200 device. but now lets see.. how many devices can you play angry birds on for $600? Amazon wins… 3.

  16. ToLe5000 says:

@rockmike93 I’m not 100 percent sure but all of those tests they did were on pages that had flash advertisements and stuff like that. Apple does not support flash, so doesn’t need to load those ads, which would make it go faster. Since kindle does support flash, they also need to load the ads on top of the page.

  17. rockmike93 says:

@ToLe5000 What do you mean? I though flash would make it run faster? What does apple use instead of flash? I thought the cloud based web browser was supposed to be faster, but it turns out to be not true!!!

  18. Adarsh123454321 says:

@asitmc that was not a review.

  19. asitmc says:

    cnet reviews are usually stupid.

  20. bigt106 says:

    iPad is upside down!

  21. suxusun says:

based on the price, i would choose kindle fire…btw is it even comparable based on the price………idiots…..

  22. pinspin13 says:

yeah.. 18 seconds difference downloading angry bird is a huge difference…

  23. pinspin13 says:

The Kindle Fire is made for people who actually still read.

  24. wicked4u2c says:

I call BS I am on Verizon FIOS and my iPad2 took longer to load CNET. The way it loaded it was cached for sure!

  25. sarba16 says:

I like how they compare the kindle fire with the iPad in every video even tho it was not made to contend with the iPad in the first place
