What is the best way to protect your information when surfing the net via ipad? What security is available? Basically – can you protect your ipad the same way you protect your home wireless network with passwords?
I’m wondering about unsecured connections when browsing the web – airports, hotels, or just generally out and about.
Answer:
Do you mean your connection? If you connect to the same wireless network as your home(which is password protected) it has the same security as whatever device that is connected to your home wireless network. And banks, and other important sites already encrypt the connection.

Hey very good question! Im not exactly sure how Ipads work, but I think they might be similar to laptops. I also was searching and found that Ipad users security wasn’t very protective, so I would be cautious about that.
Your best bet would be to try and contact Apple.
